Are you interested in growing your music therapy practice through an online presence but are unsure how to proceed? Are you concerned about the ethics of taking your practice online?
This workshop will focus on the many facets of your online presence, with emphasis on your music therapy website, your products, and the use of social media. It will offer real-life examples of how successful music therapy businesses have created a strong online presence.
This workshop will also discuss the intersection of your online presence and ethics.
You will walk away with resources, tools, app recommendations, and practical suggestions on how to grow and improve your online presence.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1) Identify and utilize technological tools to enhance their online presence and marketing. (IV.A.7; IV.B.16)
2) Develop ways to enhance their music therapy website. (IV.A.7; IV.B.5)
3) Confidently use technology in an ethical way that protects client confidentiality. (IV.A.7; IV.B.10)
This course is available for a total of 5 CMTE credits. There are no prerequisites. Your Online Presence: What Music Therapists Should Know About Websites, Social Media, Technology, & Ethics is approved by the Certification Board For Music Therapists (CBMT) for 5 CMTE credits. The Franciscan Life Process Center (P#126) maintains responsibility for program quality and adherence to CBMT policies and criteria.
